Wells Fargo Insurance Names Jason Paulnock Managing Director for Minnesota

To better meet the specialized insurance needs of its Minnesota customers, Wells Fargo Insurance, part of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC), named Jason Paulnock senior vice president and managing director for its Minnesota offices. Paulnock will lead business development, client service and sales, and cross-sell for the company’s insurance operations in Minnesota. Based in Minneapolis, he will report to John Meder, regional managing director for Wells Fargo Insurance's Midwest region.

“Minnesota is an important market to Wells Fargo Insurance,” said Meder. “As we continue to expand our capabilities and services to the large number of Wells Fargo customers in the region, Jason’s extensive career within the bank and his financial expertise will help provide our customers with even more comprehensive insurance and financial risk solutions.”

A 19-year company veteran, Paulnock held various leadership roles within Wells Fargo’s Business Banking, Commercial Banking, and Corporate Banking. Most recently, he served as regional vice president for Wells Fargo’s Midwest Government, Education & Nonprofit banking team where he oversaw Wells Fargo's government and nonprofit commercial banking activity in 11 states.

Paulnock has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Carleton College and received his MBA from University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. He is also a member of the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA), the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), and sits on Abbot Northwestern Hospital Foundation’s board of directors.

Wells Fargo Insurance’s Minnesota region includes 12 offices and 889 team members who provide insurance services to Wells Fargo’s business banking, middle market, large corporate, and high net worth customers in the region.
