Geron Corporation to Present at Needham & Company Biotechnology and Medical Technology Conference

Geron Corporation (Nasdaq:GERN) today announced that Thomas B. Okarma, Ph.D., M.D., president and chief executive officer, will present an update of the companys product development programs at 8:00 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at the 6th Annual Needham & Company LLC Biotechnology and Medical Technology Conference in New York.

The update will include information about Gerons portfolio of anti-cancer therapies, including its telomerase inhibitor drug (GRN163L) and its telomerase therapeutic vaccine (GRNVAC1). The presentation will also include a review of the companys human embryonic stem cell (hESC) development programs for spinal cord injury (GRNOPC1), heart disease (GRNCM1) and diabetes (GRNIC1).
