Campbell’s Nancy Reardon Named Fellow by National Academy of Human Resources

Campbell Soup Company (NYSE: CPB) announced that Nancy A. Reardon, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources and Communications Officer, was named a Fellow by the National Academy of Human Resources and was installed in its twentieth class of Fellows, an honor considered the most prestigious in the field of human resources.

Reardon’s career in the human resources field has spanned more than 25 years. Currently, Reardon oversees the global human resources and communications functions for Campbell and its nearly 18,000 employees. She plays a key role in shaping Campbell’s strategic and operating plans and in positioning the company for international growth. Denise Morrison, Campbell’s President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “Nancy has been a valuable member of the Campbell leadership team since 2004 and has made a significant impact on Campbell’s business and culture. She is truly deserving of this recognition for her outstanding contributions to Campbell and to the field of human resources.”

Reardon also has played an instrumental role in transforming Campbell's culture, earning the company honors as a Best Place to Work in the United States, Canada and Australia. For the past four years, the Gallup organization has recognized Campbell for having one of the most highly engaged global work forces. In addition to Reardon, the National Academy of Human Resources named two other Fellows to the class of 2011: Lucien Alziari, Avon Products, Inc. and Joseph B. Ruocco, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Only 144 individuals have been elected Fellows of the National Academy of Human Resources since its founding in 1992.

“I’m honored to have been selected by peers who I deeply respect,” said Reardon. “The Fellows of NAHR are important thought leaders in our field. I’m proud to join this group and look forward to helping shape human resource management strategy and policy.”
