Geron Corporation (Nasdaq:GERN) today announced that Thomas B. Okarma, Ph.D., M.D., president and chief executive officer, will present an update of the company’s product development programs at 2:30 p.m. PT / 5:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at the 29th Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference in San Francisco.

The presentation will provide an update on Geron’s oncology programs, including the telomerase inhibitor drug (imetelstat sodium - GRN163L), the telomerase therapeutic vaccine (GRNVAC1) and the recently in-licensed compound designed to penetrate the blood-brain barrier (GRN1005).
