BrightView (BV) To Report Earnings Tomorrow: Here Is What To Expect

Landscaping service company BrightView (NYSE: BV) will be reporting results this Wednesday after market close. Here’s what you need to know.

BrightView missed analysts’ revenue expectations by 1.9% last quarter, reporting revenues of $708.3 million, down 4.1% year on year. It was a slower quarter for the company, with a significant miss of analysts’ adjusted operating income estimates and a significant miss of analysts’ EPS estimates.

This quarter, analysts are expecting BrightView’s revenue to be flat year on year at $722.9 million, improving from the 2% decrease it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $0.32 per share.

Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business to stay the course heading into earnings. BrightView has missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates five times over the last two years.

Looking at BrightView’s peers in the environmental and facilities services segment, some have already reported their Q3 results, giving us a hint as to what we can expect. BrightView is down 10% during the same time and is heading into earnings with an average analyst price target of $18.69 (compared to the current share price of $11.83).
