Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Set for Wednesday, June 11 at 11 a.m. ET

Doherty Enterprises, Inc. is pleased to announce the completion of a comprehensive remodel of its Applebee’s® Neighborhood Grill + Bar restaurant located at 600A N. Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst, NY. Updated without ever closing doors to guests, the renovation team worked through the night and early mornings over several weeks to deliver a new enhanced dining experience, just in time for a Long Island summer.

To celebrate the new look, a special ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 11 a.m., where Area Director, Adam Eury, and Applebee’s Lindenhurst General Manager, John Chesebrough, will officially unveil the refreshed restaurant.

“We approached this remodel as a strategic investment in our Long Island communities,” said Tim Doherty, Chief Operations Officer, Doherty Enterprises. “By working after hours, we kept our guests dining uninterrupted while adding modern finishes, improved seating arrangements, and locally inspired artwork to our Lindenhurst Applebee’s. This marks the first of several updates at various Applebee’s locations along the East Coast later this year.”

The refreshed interior features contemporary light fixtures, booth and bar seating upgrades, and vibrant neighborhood-inspired artwork. Guests will also discover menu items designed to delight both longtime fans and first-time guests, from premium shareable appetizers to inventive seasonal entrees.

“We’re proud to invite our neighbors back into a fresh new space that truly reflects the warmth and character of Lindenhurst,” said Area Director, Adam Eury. “This remodel honors the families and local spirit we’ve served for decades, and we can’t wait for everyone to see the changes.”

All are invited to attend the ribbon-cutting event on June 11. Following the ceremony, guests will be able to tour the new dining room and meet the Doherty leadership team.
