Dr. Dorrin Rosenfeld selected for IAOTP’s Lifetime Achievement Award

Dr. Dorrin Rosenfeld, Chiropractor & Owner of State of the Art Chiropractic and Radio Host for "We Deserve Better" on the Brain Injury Network, was recently chosen to receive the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for 2022 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).
While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in and of itself, only a few select members are chosen for the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. These special honorees are selected to receive this award based on their longevity in their fields, their contributions to society, and their impact on their industries. With over 25 years of professional experience as a Chiropractor, Dr. Dorrin has certainly proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in her field. She is a dynamic, results-driven leader who has demonstrated success in the various positions she has held.
Currently, Dr. Dorrin serves as a practitioner of Chiropractic Care along with her husband and partner, Dr. Robert M. Woolery, at State of the Art Chiropractic, formerly Miracle Chiropractic, a practice they founded. Both Dr. Dorrin and her husband are survivors of severe head trauma and they have learned a lot by supporting each other. Dr. Dorrin and her husband communicates with their patients with an intimate understanding of the pain caused by Brain Injuries. She evaluates each patient to determine the best and most effective treatments for the individual, concentrating on Upper Cervical Trauma and Muscle Impairments.
Dr. Dorrin's key areas of expertise include chiropractic adjustments, especially those at the top of the neck, intimately connected with the brain stem, and creating a comprehensive and cutting-edge plan for full-body wellness. Additional services provided are corrective exercises, lifestyle advice, nutritional counseling, massage therapy, and spinal/postural screenings.
Before embarking on her professional career path as a Chiropractor, Dr. Dorrin graduated from Amherst College with a degree in Philosophy and Women's Studies.
She joined the Peace Corps to teach HS Chemistry in Belize, Central America. While there, she was hit by a tortilla truck while walking and spent the next year and a half in a hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Dorrin returned to Belize, where she met a Chiropractor and took an interest in Chiropractic Care. In 1992, Dr. Dorrin completed her studies and graduated from the Life Chiropractic College as a certified Chiropractor.
Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Dorrin has received awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her dedication to Chiropractic Care. The International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) will honor Dr. Dorrin for her Lifetime Achievement award in December 2023 at its Annual Awards Gala. In 2020 she received the Top Chiropractor of the Year Award. This year, she will be considered for a feature article in TIP (Top Industry Professional) Magazine. She has been an active member of her community and received communication and leadership awards through the Mare Island Toastmasters Club in Vallejo. Dr. Dorrin has served in several offices of the club, including VP of Education and past president, as well as the district level offices, Area & Division Governor. She was also a member of BNI (Business Network International) for many years. Dr. Dorrin is also the past president of her synagogue, B'nai Israel.
Aside from her successful career, Dr. Dorrin is a sought-after Radio Show Host for the National Brain Trauma Foundation. The show "We Deserve Better" targets survivors, caregivers, and people who work for programs involving brain-injured individuals. Dr. Dorrin interviews doctors and caregivers while leaving time for professionals, survivors, and those working with brain-damaged individuals to e-mail, chat, or call in with questions to discuss their experiences while building connections amongst one another.
Looking back, Dr. Dorrin attributes her success to her perseverance, training, unique optimistic outlook, and healing from her severe head injury. When not working, Dr. Dorrin enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. In the future, she hopes to maintain a positive approach and practice the proven methods that give her patients hope and the motivation necessary to continue on their path to wellness.
