Following the passing of the Chaplain Bill in June this year, all public schools can now choose to employ a full-time school chaplain, and—for any school who is interested in supporting their students, teachers and school community in this way—the NSCA advocates for their highly trained, professional, respectful, supportive and empowering chaplains.

As the governing body for school chaplains in the United States and worldwide, the National School Chaplain Association only accepts the highest caliber of applicants into their intensive training program, which is run in conjunction with Oral Roberts University, a leading private Christian university in Oklahoma.

Additionally, as the only officially recognized chaplaincy organization in the State of Texas, when the NSCA installs one of their chaplains in their school, they also welcome that school into their extensive support system, creating a network that enhances the overall effectiveness of their chaplaincy services.
