The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (844-337-6975) has launched a new training option for aspiring aestheticians that provides all of the training and certifications required to work in a MedSpa, or to open a home spa, in as little as 8 weeks.

This new training course from the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy is optimized to help new students with no previous experience or training, become experienced, certified, and ready to work in a MedSpa, with a minimum of classroom time required.

With this new course, students can complete all of their training in as little as 8 weeks, with the majority of the work done from their own homes, or from anywhere with an internet connection. While students will still be required to attend practical training at the nearest Academy, this hands-on portion of the course will be reserved for the final week of training.

Using the online courses, students will learn about the history of the MedSpa industry, the legal and hygiene requirements for working in or running a clinic, and how each procedure works. Dermysk training specialists will explain the science and biology behind popular MedSpa techniques, such as how laser light can be used to prevent hair growth.

While the online training is estimated to take approximately seven weeks to complete, the program has no time restrictions, allowing every student to work entirely at their own pace. Once the online training is complete, students can schedule their hands-on training at any Dermysk Academy location across Canada, at their own convenience.

Graduates will be fully certified to work in a MedSpa anywhere in Canada, to open a clinic of their own, or to operate a home business. However, they may also return to the Dermysk Academy at any time for more training, to gain their certification in complex techniques such as Body Sculpting and stem cell treatments.

Students who plan to take the full range of courses from the Dermysk Academy can take an alternate intensive course, the Master-level class, which includes all of the content from both the Basic and Advanced courses. This option has no prerequisites, but the Dermysk Academy reserves the right to limit enrollment to certain highly dedicated students.
