FIRSTavenue, a leading global independent placement and advisory firm, announced today that veteran placement agent Jeff Davis has joined the Firm as Partner, Head of the Americas and Global Head of Origination. Jeff will be based in FIRSTavenue’s NYC office.

Jeff has over 30 years of financial services experience, of which 21 years have been spent in private funds placement and advisory. He was previously a Partner and Head of North American Origination at Mercury Capital Advisors. Prior, he was a Partner and Head of Private Credit and Private Equity at FirstPoint Equity Capital. Earlier, he was a Partner at Eaton Partners, where he spent sixteen years across origination, project management and distribution. At Eaton, he also launched and headed Eaton’s successful Private Credit practice. Mr. Davis enjoyed complementary roles earlier in his career as an LP at Capital Dynamics and as a GP at GE Equity. He began his finance career in 1994 in investment management at Bankers Trust followed by real estate investment banking at Deutsche Bank.
