Bridger Photonics Expands Capabilities to Power OGMP 2.0 Level 4 and Level 5 Methane Reporting

Bridger Photonics (Bridger), the industry leader in methane emissions data, today announced expanded capabilities that enable both source-level (Level 4) and site-level (Level 5) methane measurement under the OGMP 2.0 framework.

These new capabilities empower operators to use Bridger’s Gas Mapping LiDAR® (GML) to inform both source-level and site-level measurements, supporting comprehensive, measurement-based methane inventories required by OGMP 2.0 Gold Standard. These new capabilities position Bridger at the forefront of advanced methane reporting and help operators accelerate progress toward Gold Standard alignment.

“Our goal is to meet operators where they are,” said Ben Little, CEO of Bridger Photonics. “Whether you’re building your first inventory or have assets across the globe, Bridger is the partner to get you there. Bridger’s technology makes the path to accurate, defensible inventories achievable and operationally efficient.”

The Oil and Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP) 2.0, led by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), sets the global framework for methane emissions reporting based on measurement and reconciliation. Achieving OGMP’s Gold Standard reflects the industry’s highest level of excellence for measurement-based methane inventories.

With proven results for operators already advancing through OGMP 2.0, and recent recognition of GML as both a source- and site-level technology under OGMP 2.0, Bridger now provides a complete, measurement-based pathway for methane inventory creation.

By combining top-down and bottom-up measurements, Bridger enables operators to reconcile inventories efficiently, reduce uncertainty, and transform compliance into meaningful emissions reductions—underpinned by the world’s best technology and powered by the efficiency of one, flexible technology program.
