The fundraising event was held at Bent Tree Country Club in Dallas, Texas on November 9^th, followed by a golf tournament held at Omni PGA Frisco, Fields West Course in Frisco, Texas on November 12^th.

Two of the Generational Brand Ambassadors—legendary golfer, Tom Watson and rising amateur star, Anna Davis joined other special guests in Dallas to celebrate Veterans Day and to honor our nation's armed forces.

Tom Watson is widely regarded as one of the greatest golfers in history; Watson won 39 times on the PGA TOUR, including eight major championships, placing him sixth on the all-time list of major championship victories.

Anna Davis is an American amateur golfer who made headlines in April 2022 when she won the third Augusta National Women’s Amateur at just 16 years old. She currently competes for Auburn University, where she has already earned multiple individual collegiate titles and set program scoring records. Davis represented the United States in the 2024 Curtis Cup and remains one of the world’s top amateurs, ranked inside the top 15 of the World Amateur Golf Ranking.

Since 2015, Bent Tree Country Club has hosted an annual Veterans' Day fundraising event to honor our service men and women and to show our appreciation for their service. Through the generous support of our membership, staff, and sponsors, funds have been donated to veterans' service organizations that deliver critically needed services.

This year, Northern Texas PGA HOPE, Defenders of Freedom, Adaptive Training Foundation, and Troops First Foundation were designated as recipients. All four foundations focus exclusively on improving the lives of our nation's heroes.

Annually, 60 to 80 North Texas wounded veterans are invited to attend our Gala Party and Golf Tournament. The Gala Party, Sunday evening, November 9th, featured a special guest, retired Navy SEAL sniper and instructor, Charlie Melton. He joined the U.S. Navy at 19 and served 26 years, retiring in 2015 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. A BUD/S Class 176 graduate, he deployed three times with SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team-2, later instructing SDV and leading the SEAL Sniper School as its Chief Petty Officer.

November 12th concluded with a round of golf at Omni PGA Frisco, Fields West Course. Each year, veterans participate by playing with our Generational groups. This unique event provides the opportunity to recognize and understand the sacrifices made for our freedom. It also allows attendees to meet and see the character and attributes of the men and women who have made sacrifices for our country.
