Industry Awards Program Honors IT Professionals Who Save the Day
Connection (PC Connection, Inc.; NASDAQ: CNXN), a leading provider of information technology solutions to business, government, healthcare, and education markets, was pleased to honor the winners of the 5th annual IT Superhero Awards at the Connection Technology Summit in Phoenix, Arizona.
The IT Superhero Awards honor outstanding IT professionals who go above and beyond to “save the day” in their organizations through innovation, dedication, and technical expertise. The awards program is open to IT professionals from organizations of every size, across all industries—enabling anyone to submit a nomination for their IT Superhero. During a rigorous, four-month process that took place between April and July of 2025, hundreds of nominees were considered for this year’s IT Superhero Awards.
The 2025 IT Superhero Awards individual category winners, chosen by a panel of three judges, are:

He was recognized for his technical prowess, effective communication, and exceptional customer service, demonstrating quick thinking and a willingness to go above and beyond for his teammates.
- Best Rookie—Lucas Reynard, Information Security Coordinator, Roanoke City Public Schools, Virginia. Lucas was commended for dedication and fearlessness in solving cybersecurity challenges, performing at a high level despite being new to the field.

Chosen from among the individual category winners, Ankur Khare was recognized as the 2025 Ultimate IT Superhero Award winner.
Jamal Khan, Chief Growth and Innovation Officer and Head of the CNXN Helix Center for Applied AI and Robotics, said, “Every year, the IT Superhero Awards remind us that behind every secure network, every seamless digital experience, and every resilient system is a dedicated professional who makes it all possible. The 2025 winners exemplify the courage, creativity, and commitment that drive innovation forward. From classrooms to corporate campuses, their stories inspire us to celebrate the human side of technology. Congratulations to Daymel Feliú Delgado, Lucas Reynard, Jackie Lovell, Michael Jordan, and Ankur Khare—your impact reaches far beyond the walls of the IT department, empowering others and elevating the very culture of your organizations.”
Connection has made a donation in the name of each winner to a charity selected by Connection employees as part of Connection Cares, with Jackie Lovell supporting the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT), Lucas Reynard and Michael Jordan supporting Feeding America, and Daymel Feliu Delgado and Ankur Khare supporting NPower.
