Updated Top Seller – The Evangelical Bullies – Released by Fellowship Books as an Election 2024 Road Map

Author warns: "You cannot vote yourself into heaven. However, if you vote for horrific treatment of immigrants, you may be voting your soul into Hell. In this freakish election, voting is not about politics, it is about your eternal destination."

KINGMAN, AZ, October 18, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fellowship Books, a leading publisher of religious books, has announced the release of an updated version of their top-selling book, The Evangelical Bullies. This revised edition offers a much-needed Biblical perspective into the association of Trump and Evangelicals.

Many have questioned how Trump, who has abandoned traditional Christian values by despising the poor and by horrifically separating small immigrant children from their parents with some never to be reunited, could garner such support from a religious community. This book attempts to answer that question by bringing back into America's conscience the Biblical concepts of mercy, of hypocrisy, and of punishment for unrepentant immorality.

The Evangelical Bullies identifies Jesus as mercy, just as God is love. The verses Mathew 9:13 and Mathew 12:7 both point out that Jesus demands mercy. This book further, argues that the parable of the "Sheep and Goats" in Mathew 25, (as you do to the least of these you do to me) reveals that not showing mercy to those in need is the one and only criterion for being punished in Hell. It concludes that voting for horrific treatment of immigrants goes above and beyond the inaction Jesus promises to punish.

In a recent interview, author Eric Demaree did not hold back in his criticism. He argued: "Evangelicals have trivialized God's Laws of Love and Mercy and joined the ranks of infamous groups such as the Pharisees, the Spanish Inquisition, and the Taliban when they decided to politically enforce their own idea of God's Laws." The author continued: "Evangelicals have embraced Rush Limbaugh, his hatred for 'bleeding heart liberals' and his hatred for mercy. They then joined him in his campaign to bully pregnant teenagers." Demaree added: "Of course, abortion is a hideous murder in many cases, however, not in all cases. Exceptions to the norm make it impossible for Evangelicals to politically enforce God's Laws in this instance."

Further, in his interview, Demaree disclosed: "Through playing senior softball, I have many good friends who are Trump supporters. Most of them are nice guys. However, they have one trait in common. They all hate moral thinking: moral thinking about climate change, about the poor, about racism, about immigrants and about mass killings of America's school children. They have convinced me that they are devoted to Trump because he enables them to escape moral thinking and to be 'as immoral as they want to be.' I get it. Trump's supporters hate being told by Democrats they need to do moral thinking. In spite of their protests now, five seconds after they die, they will change their minds about their hatred completely, absolutely, 100% guaranteed."

The author's comments have caused quite a stir among Trump's supporters, with many dismissing them as baseless, liberal attacks.

Nevertheless, while Demaree's statements may be controversial, they have brought fresh insights to the pressing issues of today's political debates. As the country prepares to head to the polls, the impact of Trump and Evangelicals on the moral fabric of our society is a hot topic of discussion.
