Item 8.01 Other Events
CDF Croisières de France, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (the
“Company”), announced that it has sold the ship Bleu De France which it will continue to operate
under lease for a period of 12 months. Pullmantur will subsequently redeploy the Horizon to CDF
Croisières de France in the spring of 2012. The sale provided additional liquidity to the Company
of approximately $55 million and generated an immaterial gain.
