AU Optronics Corp. Reports April 2014 Consolidated Revenue

Hsinchu, Taiwan, May 7, 2014 –

AU Optronics Corp. ("AUO" or the "Company") (TAIEX: 2409; NYSE: AUO) today announced its unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$32,952 million for April 2014, down by 3.1% month-over-month and declined by 11.0% year-over-year.
 
Shipments of large-sized panels(1) for LCD TV, desktop monitor, notebook PC, and other applications totaled 9.47 million units in April 2014, a decrease of 7.2% from the previous month. As for small-and-medium-sized panels, the shipments increased by 3.6% month-over-month to around 13.10 million units.
