On October 1, 2018, SunPower Corporation (the “Company”), issued a press release announcing that it closed the purchase of certain assets of SolarWorld Americas Inc. (“SolarWorld Americas”) pursuant to an Asset Purchase Agreement dated August 21, 2018, by and between the Company and SolarWorld Americas. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
