Item 7.01.Regulation FD Disclosure.

          On  October  5,  2006,  Invacare  Corporation  issued a press  release
          responding  to the  October 2, 2006  announcement  by the  Centers for
          Medicare and Medicaid  Services (CMS) in which CMS announced  proposed
          reimbursement levels for power wheelchairs scheduled to take effect on
          November 15, 2006. The press release is furnished  herewith as Exhibit
          99.1.
