COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF CONVERSE INC. Beaverton, OR (4 September 2003) -- NIKE, Inc. (NYSE:NKE) announced today it has completed the acquisition of Converse, Inc. Under the final terms of the transaction, originally announced on July 9, 2003, Nike Inc. purchased 100 percent of the equity shares for approximately $305 million.
