RE: | Proposed Finance and IT Leadership of the Combined Company |
I am pleased to announce the proposed leadership structure for our combined Finance and IT teams, which would become effective upon the close of the transaction. As Global Support Functions, the Finance and IT organizations have been aligned to support the Growth Pharma vision as well as to serve as strategic partners to the strengthened combined business units and functions around the world. By combining the best-in-class practices of the Actavis and Allergan Finance and IT organizations, we will build incredibly strong capabilities in these functions.
Global Finance will work to ensure flawless accounting, transaction processing, budgeting, forecasting and compliance with global tax and auditing accountability standards. Global IT will work to ensure that the combined company is harmonized in software/hardware platforms and has the digital technology and communication tools necessary to drive our Growth Pharma objectives. Additionally, Finance and IT will oversee the rollout of a common ERP system as a key enabler for the business and for the continued growth the combined company.
Joining me in leading the proposed combined Finance and IT organizations are:
Over the coming weeks, additional pre-integration planning will provide further clarity to how the remainder of the Finance and IT organizations will be aligned. We anticipate that these decisions will be made at or near transaction close and will communicate next level organization structures as they are finalized.
Please be mindful that this announcement is for pre-integration planning purposes and will not be implemented until final approval post-close. In the meantime, I ask that you remain focused on driving our current respective businesses as you have certainly done over the past several months.
