On October 27, 2003, Harken Energy Corporation issued a press release announcing that the previously announced purchase and sale of oil and gas properties located in the Panhandle region of Texas had been terminated by both parties to the agreement. A copy of this press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report.
