Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

 

On August 3, 2017, Hologic, Inc. (the “Company”) updated its press release, originally issued on August 2, 2017 announcing its financial results for the third quarter ended July 1, 2017. The updated press release corrected the tax impact of certain exclusions in the company’s full-year net income per share guidance. The result of the update was an increase in Hologic’s full-year GAAP net income per share guidance to a range of $2.55 to $2.57, from a prior range of $2.49 to $2.51. The Company’s non-GAAP guidance remains unchanged. A copy of the updated press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein in its entirety by reference.
