Explanatory Note
This current report on Form 8-K/A amends the Form 8-K filed by Buckeye Partners, L.P. (the “Partnership”) with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 4, 2008 for the sole purpose of filing the correct version of the press release issued by the Partnership with respect to the announcement of the signing of a definitive agreement to sell the retail division of the Partnership’s Farm & Home Oil Company LLC subsidiary. This Form 8-K/A does not reflect any events that have occurred after the Form 8-K was filed on March 4, 2008.
