Item 8.01 Other Events.
On July 20, 2005, Tenet Healthcare Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that developments arising out of a previously disclosed Securities and Exchange Commission investigation will most likely cause a delay in the filing of the Company’s Form 10-Q with the SEC for the quarter ended June 30, 2005. A copy of the press release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1.
