Aviation General, Incorporated ("Aviation General"; AVGE.PK) has declared Pilot General Aviation LLC ("PGA") in default of the Stock Purchase Agreement it entered into with Aviation General because PGA was financially unable to consummate the Agreement and is in breach of its provisions.  The Company has commenced discussions with other investors.  The Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Commander Aircraft Company, which is in Chapter 11, has filed a request for an extension of the Effective Date of its court confirmed Reorganization Plan until March 31, 2005.
